Finishing the Design and Writing

My magazine was almost finished, so I decided to work on finishing the pages by giving the final details that it needed. I added small details such as a background texture to give the pages more depth. I also included rectangles to create a more engaging layout. I even made a page where I would remove the background of the picture and make the players the main focus so it could stand out more. These features helped make the pages more unique which was the final touch to finishing the design of my entire magazine.

However I was missing one of the important things of the magazine: the article. The reason why I left the article for last was to see how much I needed to write in order for it to fit on each page. My article focuses on giving a brief explanation of what soccer is and how it works. I then go into more depth by explaining how soccer is more than just kicking the ball around the field. It is about the passion and hunger the players have to win the game, that is why putting intensity when playing will always lead to good results. The reason why I talked about this is because I wanted to create a magazine that can serve as a purpose to motivate young players to give it their all in the games.

I also decided to include an interview that I did with Jayden Antoine, who was one of the players from the game. To get a better understanding of him I asked him questions such as when and how he started playing soccer. I then continue by asking him about the game and what goes through his head as he is playing. Asking these questions are important since it can help other players that lack discipline and need the perspective of another player to help motivate them. And with that final feature, my writing was completed.
